A month after Ai-Ai delas Alas confirmed her split with estranged husband Gerald Sibayan, delas Alas said she has refused to be in contact with him since the day Sibayan chose to end their marriage through chat.
The actress-comedienne revealed this in a “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” interview on Monday, Dec. 30, where she was asked if she stayed in contact with Sibayan since their split.

Touching on the lessons she learned after their marriage, delas Alas said she learned the value of practicing peace in hopes of having a “graceful exit.”

The easing was due in part to lower gas prices, down 5.1 percent year-on-year after a 1.9 percent increase in July, Statistics Canada said in a statement.But prices of clothes and shoes also dropped month-on-month — a surprise for August when students in Canada are preparing to return to school, fueling demand and usually sending prices up.
Overall retail sales rose unexpectedly by 0.1 percent from July to August at $710.8 billion, defying analysts’ anticipation of a 0.2 percent decline, according to Department of Commerce data.
The “Tanging Ina” star, however, didn’t disclose if she and Sibayan are in the process of legally ending their marriage.
Delas Alas and Sibayan wed in December 2017 at the Christ the King Parish in Green Meadows, Quezon City, and renewed their vows five years later. She confirmed their split in November 2024.
Sibayan is the actress-comedienne’s third husband. She was previously married to Miguel Vera and Jed Salang.
